[attr="class","atar"] A strong gust of wind blew through the barren desert as the proud Saiyan warrior awaited his opponent. He did not bother to bring his scouter as picking up her energy signature would prove more then useless so he would have to rely on his eyes alone and if possible a little luck as well.
There appeared to be no signs of life around and if there were it would be nothing intelligent so the warrior would be able to fight without restraint. In the past Zorn cared nothing about alien civilians getting in his way but it seems with the passing of time and the unfortunate holocaust of his race brought on by the cruel tyrant Frizea had change his viewpoint. He hated to admit it but he was starting to become soft.
As he quietly stood at the mountain top he looked down over the edge and noticed that the chasm below seemed to be endless. He decided that it would serve as the perfect place to test his might against the Android. So without thinking twice he took a leap forward and slowly descanted into the bottomless abyss below.
The long descent down gave the Saiyan enough time to think about how he should go about gaining the upper hand on his foe. Sure he could not detect her energy and maybe she would prove to be more then a little stronger then he, but if he went all out once the fight began he could stand a chance. Only time will tell who would be the victor and who would be left alone in the abyss to rot. Remember that this is no ordinary earthling.. If I let my guard down even for a second it could mean the end of me.. I'll have to act with caution and use this terrain to my advantage.
A short sigh escaped 18's mouth as she strode towards the only decent power level that was in this dump. The tournament would bring about a roster of powerful opponents, some even stronger than Son Goku. Though she had trained at times back in her universe, she hadn't done so with anybody else. 17 had his own life to fall back on and the other Z-fighters were problematic themselves. Besides, she always was a loner after Cell's destruction no matter which way you looked at her. Even if she did one day join those band of nimrods, she would be misplaced in a group of softies. Nothing good came out of having the least bit of mercy. Or hope.
Sappiness aside, she eventually came to a large crevice. Sure enough, when she looked down, she saw the Saiyan from before. The little prick thought he could insult her and get away with it. If she didn't kill him for it, he would knock him around for his insolence. She leapt off her feet and slowely levitated down to the bottom. How this fight would go would be obvious in her head, but then again... Saiyans always were unpredictable. Whether he was similar to the ones she had encountered or not was up for debate.
"You're an idiot for pissing me off. I can't say that after this, you'll still be in one piece." She said, crossing her arms as she landed. She was about to make it clear that you don't screw around with a cyborg.
[attr="class","atar"] Zorn had always been a patient man when it came to waiting. He spent many hours a day honing his ability to pick out various power levels but since that was now out of the question he would just wait patiently for her to show up, that is if she even bothered to do so in the first place. Zorn had no way of knowing whether that she would be a no show. Something told him that she would surely so up since he insulted her as she put it. Damn it all.. He thought to himself. Seems women of every race is overly sensitive.
When she finally arrived at the agreed destination. The man remained still, his arms cross over his chest as his eyes fixated on the blonde headed woman. "So." He said in a bored tone of voice. "You decided to show. I must congratulate you. It's not everyday that someone willingly shows up to a fight they know they cannot win." Was Zorn being a little too overconfident? Yes he sure was but that was to cover up his own insecurities and with any luck maybe get into her head a little. After all half the battle is more mental then physical.
"It's not too late to turn back you know. There is no shame in it when you are fighting someone like me."
