Android 18

This version of Android 18 started out just the same as the one from the normal Universe did. And for a while, it seemed like this one would be just the same. She helped kill off their creator Gero, she fought Vegeta and met Krillin, having the same amount of affection for him as the mainstream 18 did, and got absorbed by Cell and later was saved by Gohan. But after the demise of Cell, the Z-Fighters gathered the dragon balls and summoned Shenron, and then began the change. Instead of Krillin being selfless and wishing for the self-destruct devices in her and her brother, he kept quiet just long enough to allow Gohan to wish for everything that Cell destroyed to be restored. While this might have not seemed like a big change, it left 18 with less affection for him than in the main universe.

Two years later, she finds out that Krillin's old girlfriend, Maron, came back to him and got back together with him. This left 18 with hurt feelings and a broken heart. While she didn't become completely evil from this, it did make her oblivious to any form of affection to Krillin and made her focus more on her herself over anything. As 17 left to make a life for himself as a park ranger, 18 did the same and became a bounty hunter. She avoided engaging with any of the Z-Fighters, but still watched them from afar from time to time. And it was until she agreed to join the Multiverse Tournament when things got interesting again.

But it was a prime example of how one simple change in history could turn someone from a great possibility.
