18 had recently learned of these new planets that she had originally paid no attention or interest in. But since she had come here, there was finally a place where she could truly get her demons out without endangering any lives. And it was long overdue, because it wasn't only because of the incident that was the reason for this. It was how she could've controlled her fate that made her frustrated and angry. She didn't have to seclude herself from the rest of the others, and she didn't have to be alone. Granted, she didn't mind it, but it would've been nice to form memories, whether they were good or bad. And the one person that she thought she could be happy with was just a cruel illusion and a lesson that no one could've treated her like she was normal.
It was a curse she had to live with. And she was constantly reminded of how she was not a human and never would be. But in a world like this, it seemed like no one cared how anyone else felt about themselves or their peers. It was always about who the best was, and because of that, no one had time to think about their friends or families. She had learned to deal with it, but it always bugged her. And now she felt like a hypocrite for joining this tournament. However, she had left the competition grounds for a while and decided to go someplace where she couldn't be disturbed by anyone she knew or didn't know.
The inhuman pessimist walked through the barren wasteland, snow beginning to fall. She wondered if there would be a soul foolish enough to come to this place, especially when this place was so limited in many aspects that any Human or Saiyan would see this place as hell.
After a few minutes walking through the arctic climate of Mako Star, the weather had begun to pick up and a blizzard approached quickly. She could handle the cold to a degree, but it was beginning to get ridiculous and the temperature was continuing to drop. Strangely enough, she came across something rather odd.
It was quite large. Even though it was far away, it say on a mountaintop that it completely covered. As she began to fly at a high speed towards it, parts of it had crumbled and it was barely in a stable state. Most likely some Frost Demon's terrible attempt to solidify some sort of order. If she was lucky, it would be abandoned by whoever made it.
She got up to the courtyard and looked around. There wasn't much there, but there was a moderately sized statue of someone who she could only imagine was supposed to be a representation of Frieza. I thought so, she thought, not caring the least bit when she fired a ki sphere and leaved it headless, giving it a final sour look as she opened the two large doors to the castle.
When she got in, she realized that the outside paled in comparison to the interior. It was both ugly and beautiful, with a mixture of shiny and rotting decor. A chandelier hung above her head, cracks around it that made it seem like it would fall atop her head at any given moment. Two flights of stairs laced with blackened banisters and draped with a much more fine green carpet. She scoffed and said,"At least they can get a few things right. I wouldn't mind living here." She traversed the stairway and thought it'd be a good idea to find someplace to settle. Her first initial idea was to destroy the things she didn't like and leave once the storm settled down. But now she wondered if she should destroy this entire castle. It was some sort of present to or from a Frost Demon, or it was simply someone who liked the damn tyrants.
She ran her hand across the rotting wood and headed for another archway into a hallway. It someone did come in, they would've just missed her as she began to travel through what could be a very valuable structure. Maybe I could finally be alone in my head.
